Traditional inkjet label printing often requires a separate heating and drying process after printing to cure the ink. On average, each label consumes 15 seconds for heat drying, adding time and requiring additional energy. By integrating UV ink curing lamp into their digital injket printing machine, the company discovered that the extra heating and drying process was no longer necessary. It could rapidly cure the ink, reducing the average curing time per label to only about 1 second.

Enhancing Label Quality
A comparative analysis of label quality after printing was conducted by the fruit supplier. The traditional digital printing technique resulted in issues such as ink blooming and blurry text on fruit labels, with a proportion of approximately 12% experiencing these problems. However, after upgrading to UV LED printing, this proportion decreased to less than 2%. The UV LED lamp cures the ink instantly, preventing blurring and blooming, resulting in clearer and crisper text and graphics on the labels.

Improving Durability
Fruit labels require water resistance and durability to ensure they remain intact during fruit transportation and storage. Based on feedback from customers, labels produced using traditional printing methods experienced a quality decline of around 20% after being soaked in water for 10 hours. In contrast, when LED UV curing solution was applied, this proportion decreased to less than 5%. The ink used with UV LED light source curing technology exhibits strong water resistance, maintaining the quality of the labels even in humid environments.
